DSB is acquiring the entire S-train infrastructure from Banedanmark and introducing new autonomous S-trains.

This transition emphasizes our operations' critical need for immediate response times, focusing on low latency, real-time data management, and secure and stable operation.

You will contribute significantly to integrating and optimizing train data in this role.

You will work closely with colleagues, vendors, and consultants to structure and utilize data for improving train operations.

Join the BI Foundation Team at DSB We enable traditional Business Intelligence as well as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Our mission is to create a modern space for comprehensive data insights. We are tasked with ensuring a well-functioning data warehouse integrating real-time data from the new trains, workshops, vendors, and other relevant sources.

Our group is responsible for the upkeep of DSB's current data analysis environment, which is hosted exclusively on cloud infrastructure. An external vendor monitors our platforms.

BI Foundation works out of Denmark and Poland.

We regularly discuss technical issues and share knowledge, both over Teams and in real life, during the get-togethers in Høje Taastrup or Poland.

Your Day-to-Day as a Senior Data Architect Your work will have a direct impact on the operation of the S-trains and the passenger experience by utilizing advanced technology for data collection and analysis.

You will become a key person in the development of DSB's future data strategy as we prepare to take over responsibility for tracks and signals, by 2027.

You will work closely with the business team in the future S-train program as well as other technical teams and external partners such as Banedanmark, to define data flows that will transition into our systems.

Your primary tasks will include

• Setting the direction for the integration of BI systems between DSB and Banedanmark, as well as future train data sources.
• Ensuring accurate reception, handling, and quality assurance of data from both existing and new S-trains.
• Developing guidelines that realize both traditional BI and applications within the AI/ML context.

Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is motivated to create data-driven solutions that support effective decisions across the organization.

You have a keen interest in translating complicated theories into practical solutions by using your technical skills and hands-on experience.

You can recognize yourself in the following description

• Can overview, handle, and integrate large volumes of data.
• Accustomed to handling and prioritizing tasks so that the most critical deliveries are always of high quality and delivered on time.
• Able to translate complex concepts into practical and usable solutions for both BI developers and analysts - in dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
  

Professionally, the following points describe your qualifications

• Solid experience with receiving high-frequency data in enterprise BI environments - for example within real-time data from the transportation sector or financial sector.
• Can process large volumes of data with low latency on the Azure platform.
• Skills in optimizing resource usage within an Azure cloud structure.
• Understanding and practical experience with ISO 27001.
• Experience implementing industry standards within data modelling.
