Coop Trading is looking for a technical expert to handle cosmetics and personal care products
Do you want to make a difference for 27 mill Nordic Consumers? Then we can offer you a job, where you make sure that the personal care and cosmetic products are of high quality, safe to use, sustainable and comply to relevant legislation.
You have a technical background within chemistry or pharmacy, and you are curious by nature to learn more, e.g. about developing products for retail. You like the idea of being part of a dynamic team who develop, source and launch products for the Nordic market– and where you play an important part with your technical background to assure the quality, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop an attractive and competitive personal care and cosmetic product portfolio for the Nordic Private Brand market in close cooperation with the team and suppliers.
- Quality assure that the portfolio complies with Coop's high standards within safety, sustainability, consumer information and quality.
- Assure compliance with relevant legislation and third-party label criteria (e.g. Nordic Swan).
- Be in close collaboration with suppliers and our design department on the final product design.
About you:
- A relevant education as minimum Bachelor or alternative technical education, preferably with some years of work experience within quality assurance and product development of products from retail or branded business.
- Curious familiarizing yourself with technical and legislation requirements and standards.
- Experience in working with third party criteria and labelling e.g., Nordic Ecolabel and Asthma Allergy Nordic is considered as an advantage.

Place of work: Currently, our office is in Taastrup - however we are looking to move to a location in Copenhagen.
