The position was newly created, thanks to the growing scope and importance of IT Infrastructure and Operations (ITO).

You will be part of the ITO leadership team and partner with the six other members of the leadership team and their dedicated teams.

Meet IT Operations & Infrastructure ITO counts more than 85 internal and several external colleagues in ITO. We are responsible for all IT platforms, infrastructure components, and IT support in DSB.

Your closest colleagues will be Jens, Kjeld, Henning, Camilla, and Peter, each heading their respective departments in ITO.

The IT organization comprises approximately 400 employees involved in system development, cybersecurity, project management, BI, UX, ML/AI, testing, and more.

We all contribute to a more digital DSB and use various new technologies, such as AI, edge computing and cloud services.

The Danish language is primarily used across DSB’s core units, while English is predominant within our IT department.


What is the job about? You will be heading IT Architecture functionally (so no people management) for ITO in close collaboration with other IT architects in network, data center, end-user computing, applications, and AI.

It will be your responsibility to

• Develop the overarching IT infrastructure strategy and the operating model for ITO
• Define target architectures and the associated transition and transformation roadmaps
  

ITO at DSB is mature from a technology and process point of view. We are at the forefront of network security and have a healthy private and public cloud blend.

We have an increasing and evolving demand for IT infrastructure due to a growing number of commercial and operational projects, with a distinct focus on AI.

Integrating the S-train infrastructure into the DSB operational model and transitioning to unmanned S-train operations represents a significant upcoming transformation.

IT Infrastructure is vital in this transformation to support the mix of IT and Operational Technology (OT).


Who are you? We seek a visionary IT Infrastructure Architect, who can change strategies and targets into roadmaps and execution.

You can probably recognize yourself in most of the following

• A solid technology background and 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure strategy and architecture
• Knowledge about cyber security and how to implement requirements such as NIS2 into a functioning solution
• Good communication skills, fluency in English and basic understanding of Danish
• Experience with a mix of IT and OT is a major advantage

You have great skills in establishing constructive relationships and a focus on transparency and collaboration to achieve company results.
