Join DSB as a cloud architect to enhance Azure platform operations and governance

Help shape how DSB runs and governs its Azure platform – with a focus on stable operations, smart automation, and FinOps.

As our new Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in improving security, stability and accountability across Azure – and help further develop our cloud operations.

Welcome to DSB's Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) In the CCoE, you will join a team of 10 colleagues across our in-house and nearshore setup, working with security, cloud infrastructure, projects and train programs.

We support cloud development across the Azure platform—from design and deployment to operations and advanced problem resolving.

We work closely with our Indian partner TCS, which manages the day-to-day operation of both IaaS and PaaS services.

Your closest colleagues are specialists with different backgrounds in Azure and cloud technologies, and the team has a profound culture for knowledge sharing.

What you will do As our new Cloud Architect, you will help define and optimize operational processes to ensure consistent service delivery from our sourcing partner.

You will contribute to the tender documentation for our future outsourcing agreement.

The role involves rightsizing our cloud infrastructure and improving accountability among system owners and system managers.

You will also help establish guardrails to keep costs under control.

A typical day might start with reviewing Azure usage data and identifying opportunities to optimize cost and performance.

You may then join a meeting with TCS to discuss cloud operations governance, including change and release processes, as well as incident and problem management.

After lunch, you might work on workload segmentation and policies to improve security and efficiency across the platform.

Later in the day, you may prepare reports for system owners on usage patterns, risks and recommended actions.

Other tasks include

• Overseeing FinOps activities and optimizing Azure spend
• Providing structured reporting to system owners on consumption, deviations and improvement opportunities, and following up on actions

Are you our new Cloud Architect? You are motivated by creating structure and governance in complex cloud environments, where collaboration with many stakeholders is part of everyday work.

You thrive on turning technical challenges into clear processes and decision material, and you take a pragmatic approach to making things happen.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience with cloud operations in an enterprise IT environment or with a service provider
• Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with governance in supplier-based operating models
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-400 or SC-100/SC-200.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, e.g. Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
  

You hold a relevant degree in IT, software engineering, computer science, engineering or a related field.
