We are looking for a Security Architect to improve our security and support the integration with IT security.

Welcome to the IT Security Department We are a Taastrup-based department improving IT security across DSB.

IT Security consists of nearly 20 specialists, dealing with Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Operations, and IT Security Architecture. We work closely together to protect DSB's critical systems and infrastructure.

We support and advise teams throughout the organization and resolve complex IT security challenges. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues and contribute to the development of robust security solutions.

What is the job about? You will guide projects and colleagues to develop and enhance DSB's IT security architecture.

As an IT Security Architect, you act as a trusted advisor, embed security in solutions from day one, balance risk with business needs, and ensure alignment with relevant standards and regulations.

On a typical day you kick off with a quick coffee sync to align on priorities.

Then you might run a workshop with a vendor to shape a new security capability - or review solution design and assess risks on a critical system, turning findings into clear, pragmatic improvements.

Later, you join a new initiative to set the security architecture direction and agree next steps with stakeholders before wrapping up.

Other tasks/responsibilities

• Perform analysis and give advice on security architecture in close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Ensure that the systems comply with applicable standards and legal requirements in IT and cyber security
• Analyze and evaluate technical vulnerabilities, risks, threats, impacts on critical systems and suggest improvements
• Guide the organization on best practices in IT and information security

Are you our new IT Security Architect? We are looking for someone with analytical capabilities and insight into IT security, IT systems in general, and business perspectives.

Motivated by complexity and cross-team collaboration, you communicate clearly at all levels and serve as a trusted partner to technical and business stakeholders alike.

Curious about new and emerging tech, you take initiative by implementing change, finding solutions, and setting direction with your team and department.

We imagine that you have

• Working experience from a similar role in a large corporation or from critical infrastructure
• Experience with for example, hacking, operating systems, OT systems, Azure and in general a broad knowledge of different flavors of IT, OT and network landscapes or similar
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 (required), plus familiarity with IEC 62443 and TS 50701 or similar (optional).
  

Your scholastic background covers a Master in IT, Computer Systems or a similar analytical and technical education.

You communicate professionally in English and have a basic knowledge of Danish.
