We are in the process of revolutionizing the future of public transportation. Right now, we are making investments to secure the future of sustainable, public transportation.

Among other things, we are investing in the IC5 project and the driverless S-Network, which is renewing our fleet of long-distance Trainsets and S-Trains.

It's a big project, and that's why we are gathering the best colleagues from all over the world to lead, drive, and carry out this task.

Right now, we are looking for two new Senior Maintenance Leads for our big projects.

Welcome to the Maintenance team in the IC5 and the Driverless S-Network Programme As a Maintenance Lead, you will have two different "bases". One base is the Maintenance team, where you will have colleagues with whom you can discuss technical matters.

The other base is in the “Future S-Network Programme”, where we currently have 200 employees in the project groups. We are many different professionals, including economists, engineers, lawyers, planners and a designer.

In addition to your internal colleagues from the Maintenance team and the project group, you will also work with our international consultants.

What will you be doing? Once you have settled well into the job, you will have an overview of

  • The determination of the Maintenance prerequisites for the purchase.
  • The specification of the Maintenance of the Rolling Stock.
  • The infrastructure to be used to maintain the Rolling Stock.
And you will be able to

  • Ensure internal technical coordination and coordination with technical experts in DSB’s and other stakeholder organizations.
  • Contribute with valuable inputs to the management team, of which you are a part.
  • Take charge of negotiating agreements with manufacturing partners on your own.
Flexible and varied workday A typical workday starts with you coordinating with some of the employees in the Maintenance team. You discuss the current technical issues and find a good solution together.

Then you go to a meeting in the project group, where you discuss tender requirements. You manage to find a compromise that the entire project group is satisfied with.

After the meeting, you have a delicious lunch in our inviting canteen. The rest of the day you will write and review documents at a high technical level, which you handle at your desk with a good cup of coffee.

Who are you? There are many angles to these positions, but we imagine that you

  • Have extensive Maintenance and managerial knowledge (+10 years) and familiarity with rolling stock (5-7 years).
  • Have knowledge of how to manage projects (3-5 years).
  • Are good at ensuring that compromises are made between different professional groups.
  • Master Danish and English in writing and speech. English is our working language.
  • Are good at motivating employees.
  • Can communicate clearly to different professions and at different levels (both upwards and downwards in the organization).
What can you expect from DSB?
  • Free transportation with DSB
  • Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home a few days a week
  • Training in DSB's gym and PureGym
  • Pension and health insurance
  • Lunch scheme and the opportunity to buy food to take home
Apply now The application deadline is August 18, 2024.

We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so please upload your CV, application (as a document or video), and exam papers (if applicable) as soon as possible.
