Within Coop Trading our Nordic Packaging Coordinators are part of developing and optimizing for packaging for our Nordic Private brands. Here you have the opportunity to challenge status-quo and find new or sustainable packaging solutions with a Total Cost of Ownership perspective.
Key responsibilities:
Optimizing the packaging solution (primary, secondary, shop unit, pallet) with a Total Cost of Ownership + Value (TCO+V) mindset in close cooperation with Coop Trading's internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, our 4 Nordic markets, buyers, product specialists, design managers, etc.)
Investigating and developing new innovative packaging solutions together with our suppliers.
Continuously developing tools and guidelines for securing sustainable packaging that support our overall packaging strategy.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the Packaging strategy internally and in relation to Nordic partners.
Ensuring ongoing quality assurance of packaging and packaging data reported in the packaging module at all packaging levels (primary, secondary, shop unit, pallet).
Following through on new EU Packaging regulation
Qualifications:
- You have +2 years’ experience working with packaging and supply chain optimization
- Flair for handling complex data and calculation
- Experience in optimizing with a TCO+V perspective
- Relevant education at minimum bachelor level (commercial, technical ect.)
- You have solid English skills (knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus)
- You are an experienced user of the Office suite, with a general aptitude for IT systems

Place of work: Currently, our office is in Taastrup – however, we are looking at new locations closer to Copenhagen.
