Student Assistant for our Quality team ( » 15 hours per week)


In our Quality team, we are currently looking for a Student Assistant to help us with product control projects and various other tasks. We are a team consisting of five Control Specialists within our 'Quality & Responsibility team' of nine employees dedicated to supplier and product compliance. Our QC team carries out product risk assessments regarding safety and fraud, conducts supplier audits and product control projects, handles complaints about product defects, and more.

As a Student Assistant, you will also embody this purpose and the Coop Trading personality of being an ambitious, responsible, and passionate game-changer who challenges the status quo through knowledge and collaboration. 

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct control projects:
    • Obtain product samples, send them for analyses, evaluate the results, and if needed conduct follow-up actions, and write a report documenting the control project.
    • Contact suppliers to request documentation, evaluate the materials received, and if needed conduct follow-up actions, and write a report documenting the control project.
  • Other specific assignments within quality control.

Your professional competencies

  • You are probably doing a higher degree in food science, or similar.
  • You have an interest in food safety, quality, and food product legislation.
  • You must be fluent in English written and orally, whereas knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is a bonus.

Your working style

  • You work with attention to detail, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
  • You can work independently.
  • You collaborate well with many different roles in an organization.
  • You are consumer-oriented with a mindset to make a difference.


Type of employment: Student Assistant - » 15 hours per week.

Time of employment: As soon as possible.
Location: Currently, our office is in Taastrup - however, we are looking at new locations closer to Copenhagen.
