Our Business Insights team is seeking a full-time insights consultant for a newly appointed role, to enhance our capabilities with insights, with special focus on consumer insights. You will join a team of 5 dedicated colleagues, working with analytics, reporting (business & financial), commodity insights, negotiation support and much more.

As a an Insights consultant you will also embody this purpose and the Coop Trading personality of being an ambitious, responsible, and passionate game-changer who challenges the status quo through knowledge and collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of insights and analyses – with special focus on consumer insights
- Work with visualization and storytelling of data in both reports and presentations
- Analyze market insights in the four Nordic markets
- Support & enable category development and strategies with insights
- Develop product performance analysis & follow-up
- Enhance our internal BI reporting tool with new reporting and functionality
- Ongoing ad-hoc analysis work
Your professional competencies:
- Higher education e.g. bachelor or master within economics or similar
- Minimum of +2-3 years of experience in a similar analytical role
- Can convey complex knowledge to all levels of the organization and present this in a simple and understandable way
- Expert in Excel and good PowerPoint skills
- Experience within FMCG is an advantage, possibly from the supplier side, but not a prerequisite
- You must be fluent in English written and orally whereas knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is a bonus

- You have strong analytical skills and can handle complex issues as well as large amounts of data
- You are able to acquire new knowledge quickly and are able to understand and translate business needs into solutions in the form of for example, reports, analyses, decision advice, etc.
- You see opportunities and think about continuous improvements using data to optimize and ensure our buyers the best possible basis for decision-making
- You are eager to acquire new skills and share knowledge with your colleagues
- You can both work independently and be part of a team where sparring is an important part of everyday life
- With your can-do attitude you are a problem solver and you ensure that things get done.

Location: Currently, our office is in Taastrup - however, we are exploring new locations closer to Copenhagen.
