Coop Trading is seeking our new Business Partner to join a small team of three, which includes our People & Culture Manager and Assistant.
At Coop Trading, our purpose is to make everyday life better for 27 million Nordic consumers by leading in Nordic private brands. As a key player in the Nordic purchasing landscape, we represent Coop in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and SOK in Finland, negotiating Nordic agreements and innovating products for our Private Brands portfolio. This diverse portfolio includes both food and daily non-food items within our Xtra, Coop, and Änglamark brands.

You will have significant influence over your role and the organization, working closely with the People & Culture Manager, the management team, and employees to ensure effective support and solutions driven by purpose and values. You will play an essential role in shaping our future organization by aligning the People & Culture function with Coop Trading's purpose.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and collaborating with managers on employee development, daily management, team building, and initiatives to increase engagement.
- Managing annual People & Culture processes (e.g., salary reviews, employee surveys, annual goal-setting).
- Conducting specific People & Culture projects, such as cross-functional training programs, etc.
- Providing recruitment support to managers, including job postings, assessments, and feedback (we use MPA and ACE).
- Organizing and conducting seminars and workshops, such as DiSC and annual development days for all employees.
- Managing our occupational health and safety organization in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
- Coordinating and participating in our People & Culture Forum, where we align People & Culture-related topics with the organization.
The ideal candidate is motivated and skilled at navigating operational, tactical, and strategic levels. Payroll administration and heavier personnel legal support are outsourced to Coop Denmark, with whom we have a close collaboration on these topics.
Your qualifications should include:
- A relevant educational background, such as a master's degree in HRM or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a broad People & Culture scope.
- Experience in recruitment and certified use of relevant assessment tools.
- Experience in planning and conducting workshops.
- Advanced proficiency in the Office suite.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of personnel law and familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
