Join The Future S-network programme We look forward to welcoming you to the Future S-network (FS) programme, where we have about 200 internal and external colleagues with many skills and nationalities. We are matrix organized drawing on International Consultants, RailNet Denmark and DSB specialists. We work as an integrated team sparring and collaborating closely with the DSB base organization to deliver on our complex tasks.

The Future S-network programme is structured into three key phases

  1. Acquiring the driverless S-train network, including rolling stock and support systems.
  2. Ensuring DSB's readiness to operate a driverless S-train network with necessary IT capabilities and traffic control measures.
  3. Transitioning infrastructure management tasks from Banedanmark to DSB and taking responsibility for ongoing developments, upgrades, and operations of the CBTC system.

You will be part of the newly formed team “Signals & UTO Systems”.

We are responsible for all signaling related tasks, including the CBTC-system upgrade from GoA2 to GoA4 including the upgrade of the TCC, procurements and roll-out of supporting systems and ODS-P, new PA and PI systems, Radio & Telecommunications as well as DSB’s future Test Lab.

We develop our solutions in close collaboration with DSB IT, which is transforming the DSB IT landscape. We are playing a key role in delivering a fully automated S-bane system and transforming the existing S-bane infrastructure.

About the job You will be Project Lead for a project team consisting of 20 specialists with the relevant knowledge within CBTC, project support, legal, technical etc.

Your tasks will be to

  • Manage the CBTC-Project delivery activities (in close coordination with the FS-programme) and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring coordination between DSB, Banedanmark and Siemens.
  • Report to the steering committee between DSB and Banedanmark, governing the common activities.
  • Act as a link towards Banedanmark in relation to the CBTC-tasks for which DSB is responsible.
  • Plan and enable that employees transferring from Banedanmark to DSB are integrated into Fremtidens S-bane and in DSB appropriately.
  • Act as advisor when DSB takes over sector responsibility for operating the CBTC-system in 2027.
Who are you? We are looking for an experienced Project Lead with the following experiences and skills

  • Extensive experience leading diverse highly skilled teams and managing technical development projects.
  • Effective collaboration skills to build partnerships with authorities and suppliers.
  • Solid English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with rail projects, ideally including CBTC.

It is crucial that you possess the skills to develop the CBTC-project while also understanding the full scope of the Future S-train program. You will ensure seamless integration and interdisciplinary collaboration within the overall project.
